Lockdown, the website takes its first steps…

Hey everyone, this is the first blog I’ve ever written and don’t really know where to start. We’re now a week through the U.K. lock down due to Covid-19, I had to close my music store last week so I am facing the same uncertainty that lots of other people are facing, not knowing when things will get back to anything that resembles normality triggering my anxiety almost daily. I’m finding ways of coping through drawing and spending time with my housemate and her amazing kids, who always keep me smiling on a daily basis. I’m finding first thing in the morning is when I panic most but as soon as I’ve spoken out loud about it or via Facebook messenger and WhatsApp with friends it definitely calms me down. I can go to the dark place if I’m stuck inside my own head for too long but creating these pictures is a way I release that. The tapping on the iPad screen using the stylus is very therapeutic for me, it’s almost like meditation. We’ve still got another two weeks of this before I can think about going back to my shop so I’m really going to be focusing on creativity and love whilst I’m at home, still feeding the imagination through music and wild kids stories.
